Why I like Cool de Sac at Suntec City?

First, it's a little different from the other indoor children's playground that we see aplenty.  It is designed for creative play.  Hence, you get an Arts zone, Blocks zone, Backstage where your kids can dress up as characters and perform on the mini-stage, a Tree House for adventure play, Play Area where you get slides, Tots area for kids below 3 years of age, Tweens area where older kids can play on game stations and a small party area.  Free WIFI is also available.

The prices are also very reasonable.  Price is for unlimited play and segmented into 3 different tiers.

When we went there on Sunday afternoon, the place was packed.  I could not find a seat at the Bistro until 30 minutes later.  Despite that, there were still pockets of seats you could find to rest your feet and bags while keeping a watchful eye over your little ones.  The menu looks adequate, though I only tried their cake and tea.

Upon entering, you will see the stroller parking and shoe racks on your left.  Beside it is a small diaper room.  There is no nursing room or toilet inside the play area.

On your right, you will see Play Area with its 3 slides.  They are not the most fantastic slides we had tried, but they are enough to keep him entertained for the first 30 minutes.

Immediately to your left, you will see the Tree House where kids can indulge in adventure play, crossing suspension bridge, climbing ladders etc.

The playground is supposed to be only for children above 5 years old, but it's too fun to miss, isn't it?

Further in from the Tree House is a smaller play area for toddlers.  Here, you get mini slides and obstacles.  Everything is down sized.

He's still having lots of fun climbing, crawling, wiggling, jumping, sliding etc.

Next up is the Arts Zone.  This is where free paper and coloring/writing materials are provided to kids to unleash their inner Van Gogh.

Next comes the Bricks Zone, where you can use your imagination to build anything you wish to with the lego blocks provided in different shapes and colours.

At Backstage, you can dress up as characters, have your own mini show and tell or simply wait to get a tattoo on your face or body.

Further in from the Cafe, you will find an area for Tweens and Party Plaza.

The little lion dancer was there for a good 2 hours, during which I managed to clear my inbox of over 400 emails.  Talking about time well spent for both mummy and kiddo!
